How The Process Works
Molly's Bridge does not accept open applications, instead we work with several trusted partner organizations in our area who refer potential participants to the Molly's Bridge program.
Our referral partner organizations are comprised of churches and other nonprofits who have a high potential to be in contact with potential partner families.
An Overview of the Process
Referral Partners
Our referral partners build relationships and work with single mother led families. Through this, they identify potential Molly's Bridge participants and initiate a referral explaining why they feel the family is a good candidate.
Application Submission
The potential partner Mom will now submit a detailed application with details of her family history, current living and employment status and an overview of her goals for the future.
Interviews
Molly's Bridge staff and board members will schedule in-depth interviews to meet with the candidate and discuss the details of the comprehensive program to allow the family to decide if Molly's Bridge is right for them.
Acceptance or Referral
The interview team will make a determination if starting the program is the right "next step" for the family. Accepted families will be scheduled for orientation and get ready for move-in day.
Others may be referred to community resources that can assist in a family's ability to successfully re-apply at a later time.
